Minor surgery procedures that can be done include: excision of lumps such as cysts and lipoma; removal of moles; removal of seborrheic keratosis (common non-cancerous skin growths); excision biopises (removal of suspicious or abnormal areas of skin to check for signs of disease); abcess incision and drainage. Please ask reception staff for help booking a review appointment.
Joint Injections – Clinically accredited staff are able to offer joint injections to relieve pain, improve mobility and to compliment physiotherapy. Clinicians are able to inject specific joints such as the knee, shoulder, elbow, carpal tunnel, trigger finger, osteoarthritsis of the thumb, trochanteric bursitis. We are not able to offer injections for hip arthritis, ankle or foot injections. For patients who have not had a joint injection before, you will need to be assessed clinically to decide whether joint injection or alternative options could be beneficial.
