GP Care Wakefield
This is an extension to our practice services providing urgent and routine GP and Nurse appointments booked through your own GP surgery (telephone number 01924 237100). If you are unable to take a call at work or you cannot get to the practice, it may be appropriate for your contact request to be transferred to GP Care Wakefield.
Appointments are available from
Monday to Friday 17:00 – 21:30
Saturdays 09:00 – 17:00
Sundays 09:00 – 13:00
Bank Holidays 09:00 – 15:00 (including 25th and 26th December and 1st January)
Between 22:00 and 08:00 the next morning patients should call 111.
When we are closed
If you are ill between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.00pm Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8.00am-3.00pm, Middlestown Medical Centre patients have access to book an urgent West Wakefield Extended Hours appointment with a doctor or nurse at GP Care Wakefield based at Ossett Health Village, Kingsway, Ossett, WF5 8DF.
When you ring the out of hours service on 111 please ask to make an appointment with GP Care Wakefield.
